A stone tied to the end of a string 100 cm long is whirled in a horizontal circle at a constant
speed. If the stone makes 10 revolutions in 20 s, the angular velocity of the stone is rad/s
If the string is made 80 cm long, the angular velocity will
(increase, decrease,
remain the same)

Answer:

1800 rad/s

Explanation:

Perimeter of revolution of 100 cm sting

= (2*π *100)

total angles for 10 revolution

= 2*180*10*100 = 360000 rad

Angular velocity= (360000/20)= 18000 rad/s

If the string is made 80 cm long , the angular velocity will same because then revolution of the sting increases.
