Answer:

7.5 m^3

Given:-Volume of water=15.625 m^3

Present dept of water=1.3m

To find:-

Volume of water used from the tank

Solution:-

Let each edge of the tank be a m

volume of water in the water=(a^2)m^3

But volume of water is given=15.625 m^3

a^3=15.625

=15625/1000

=125/8

=(5/2)^2

Thus, each edge of the tank is 2.5m

present depth=1.3m

Volume of water=(2.5×2.5×1.3)m^3

=(5/2×5/2×13/10)m^3

=65/8m^3

=8.125 m^3

Volume of water used from tank=

=(15.625-8.125)m^3

=7.5 m^3
