The great city of the Rome was built by two brother called Romulus and Remus who were brought up by a she wolf when they were kids. The brothers then started building a city in between seven hills and after a long time they established a city. Slowly they had inhabitants for the city and gradually they conquered all the neighboring cities and slowly established a small empire. The empire gradually spread its wings and it had its presence even in Asia Minor. All these things took nearly a thousand years. So a small city developed into a huge empire in a long period of time. Thus whatever we try to achieve we should also bear in mind it takes time to accomplish things. Great scientist like Thomas Alva Edison worked years together to invent the electrical filament bulb. So when we plant a seed, it takes a number of years of careful attention to see to it that it grows as a tree and bears its fruit

Story: Rome was not built in a day

Robinson was the owner of a shoe store. Sales were good as most people preferred to frequent his shop because the shoes were of good quality and the prices were reasonable. He was married and have a school going son named Albert.

Every morning Robinson dropped his son in school in their family car. After school, Albert would wait for his father to pick him up and go home. This was the daily routine of father and son except on holidays.

One day they arrived home from school. Robinson sat down on his regular chair to rest. His wife brought him a glass of water.

Albert came to his father and said, "Dad, I want to become a businessman. I will open many shoe stores. Then I will get rich and buy luxurious cars."

His father was surprised that his son was talking about getting rich and expensive cars. He replied, "Son, come here. I want to show you some old photos."

He took out a tiny box and opened it. There were many old photos inside. He took out the photos one by one and described them to Albert.

"This is me on a road side working as a shoe shine boy. I never attended school because my parents cannot afford. Next photo, here I am in my teens. This is my first real job as a salesman in this huge shoe store. Finally, this photo was taken by the store owner on the day I was promoted to manager."

Albert looked at his father thoughtfully. He said, "Daddy, I like the story of your life. I understand. Rome was not built in a day."
