Once upon a a time there was a greedy man named Stan. Stan owned a grocery store and got rich under paying his workers and refusing to help the poor. One night, Stan was sleeping when suddenly he went into a trance state and had a dream-vision.The Archangel Gabriel appeared to Stan and made him a proposition. "Stan," said Gabriel, "I am here to offer you a deal.Tell me your highest value and I will make it so."Stan thought about it a minute, and said, "I choose to have a ton of gold as my highest value.'"So, be it." said Gabriel.The next thing you know Stan found himself in a lavish bedroom with a ton of gold at the foot of the bed.Stan was very happy for a few minutes. But then, he became concerned.He realized that there was no door to use to exit the bedroom, and no windows, either.Stan laid back in bed and cried.He eventually starved to death with his gold at his side.
