                                            I wish I acted slow

As I was walking down the street, dad asked "What is your wish right now". I hastily said, "I want to grow odld". He laughed and curiously asked, "why?'. I replied, "I want to grow older and be independent to do whatever i want to". Dad expressed, " Growing old is inevitable. So love the moment God has given". Since I was a kid, I did not understand his golden words. I continued wishing to grow old and chased money. Years later, at 70 years of my age, when i cannot move without support. I understood my father's advice and wished to have lived my childhood and adult years to the fullest. After all, dad was right.
