a student argues nuclear energy is necessary evil will you support this statement explain​

Nuclear Energy is not a form of evil as it is very usefull for powering cities and vehicles (submarines and rovers and what not!!). But i would say that the student is right if he/she had stated that nuclear weapons are evil. nuclear energy, again must be utilised for the benefit of the mankind, not to kill each other at unimaginable rates.
