a student has set up an apparatus to show thatCO2 is released during repiration. After about 1 hour he observes no change in the water level in the delivery test tube . Write two possible reasons for the failure of the experiment.​

Possible reasons for the failure of this experiment:

1) The apparatus might not be airtight. To do so, apply vaseline or petroleum jelly on the cork.

2)The Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) solution should be freshly prepared. If not, then it would be rendered useless.
