A student is not getting the results for his experimental set up to shown that germinating seeds release co2 during resperation what could be the reason for this

He must have missed KOH pellets.

He must have missed soaking the seeds before experiment.

Possible reasons:

1. the conical flask airtight.

2. Fix the shorter end of the glass tube in such a way that it does not touch the seeds.

3. Use freshly prepared KOH solution.
