A student measures the length of a line with a ordinary meter scale and quotes his result as 15.78cm Is the result acceptable​

no..... it is not acceptable result....

10mm =1cm

78mm won't come

it is 22.8cm.....

78mm = 7.8cm

Answer:

No the metre scale can measure length only up to 0.1 cm ,i.e., only up to the first decimal place . Hence, he is not justified in quoting his result up to the second decimal place
