It basically depends on the current position of the mirror. if we keep the mirror at the focus then we will get a inverted diminished but clear image. when we keep the screen between focus and pole no image would be formed as the image formed is virtual. through this we can say that as image is formed n the screen and it is blur the screen is beyond focus. therefore he should shift the mirror towards the screen and adjust it unless he gets a clear image.
