Dear diary,
I am exceptionally tired! It was a long day at school. My head aches and my eyes are drooping close, but I am glad that the leathergy is for a noble cause.
Last week , I was quite surprised to learn that (the name of your friend ) was absent in school. That was unusual as she was never irregular. Moreover, our exams were approaching and We were not supposed to miss school. She was absent for a whole week and returned only today. She was in tears when she got to know about the amount of homework that was pending. So, I sat with her during lunch and helped her cope up with all that we had done in class.Sums, grammar, history, science etc, were all covered. After lunch ,the teacher called me to her desk.I was scared. What did the teacher want me for? I tipped across the room. She patted me on the back and said 'I am proud of what you have done. Not many students can leave aside fun and games and help a friend with her studies.'
I beamed with joy as the class broke into loud applause. My heart fluttered and danced within me. The pride in my teacher's eyes and the love in those of my friends was a gift, costlier than any.
Don't you think what I did was great? I am very happy today.Anyway, I must go to sleep. I told you, I am exceptionally tired!
