A student performed an activity in which 200 ml of lime water is taken. Few drops of phenolphthalein are added to lime water. The solution turns pink. The student blows air into this beaker with a straw and observed a color change
1. Why did the lime water turn pink?
2. What was the color change observed when the student passed air through the beaker?
