a student performed an experiment to verify the conservation of mass .in this experiment, he mixed 5.3g of sodium carbonate with 6g of ethanoic acid .the product he observed were 2.2g of CO2,0.9g of water and 8.2 g of sodium ethanoate .verify the law of conservation of mass.

Hey☺.Here is your answer you r looking for.
as we know that in law of conservation of mass "total mass of reactants is equal to taotap mass of product". hence here,
Total mass of reactants 5.3g of Naco3 and 6g of ethanoic acid is equal to (5.3+6)=11.3g.
Total mass of product 2.2g of CO2 + 0.9g of H2O + 8.2g of Na ethanoate is equal to 11.3g.Hence total mass of reactants is equal to total mass of product.so it varify the law of conservation of mass.Hope this is helpful for u.if it is then mark it as a brilliant.
