Given:

Fluid A - mass(m) = 2060 g and volume (V) = 2000mL

Fluid B - mass(m) = 672 g and volume (V) = 850mL

Fluid C - mass(m) = 990 g and volume (V) = 1100mL

To Find:

the density of the given fluids =?

Solution:

We know that density can be calculated as

density = mass/volume

using the above formula, density can be calculated as follow

  • For fluid A
  • density = m/V = 2060/2000 = 1.03 g/mL

  • For fluid B
  • density = m/V = 672/875 = 0.768 g/mL

  • For fluid C
  • density = m/V = 990/1100 = 0.9 g/mL
