Subject: Higher Education Becoming Increasingly Difficult
Sir:
I am writing to your good self to express my deep concern over the issue of higher education becoming increasingly difficult for common people of the country. The cut off on the admission lists is constantly rising up; what do the students just below the cut off do? A student's anxiety never ends. after clearing the board examination in class 12 there is uncertainty in getting admission in college & course of ones choice.
The admission to the reputed universities and colleges is either secured by students with the highest cut off or quota students. A majority of bright students who have scored just below the cut off and are not in the quota categories, have to suffer.
How can our nation develop when most of its talented youth is deprived of higher education? Through the medium of your esteemed daily I appeal to the Government authorities and the concerned Ministry to look into the issue and take some initiatives to provide equal higher education opportunities to all the talented students irrespective of higher cut offs, quota system, class, color, creed, etc. Only highly educated youth can contribute to the optimal development of the nation.
