There was 22.22% of marks exceeded in second test than first test.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

Total Test marks =25

Marks Scored in First test = 18

Marks Scored in Second test = 22

We need to find the percentage of marks in second test exceeds than in first test.

Solution first we will find Total marks exceeded in second test.

Total marks exceeded in second test is the difference between Marks Scored in Second test  and Marks Scored in First test.

framing the equation form we get;

Total marks exceeded in second test = 22 - 18 = 4

Now To find percentage of marks in second test exceeds than in first test we have to divide Total marks exceeded in second test with Marks Scored in first test and then multiplied by 100.

framing in equation form we get;

percentage of marks in second test exceeds than in first test = \frac{4}{18}\times 100 =22.22\%

Hence There was 22.22% of marks exceeded in second test than first test.
