a student scored 55% in the first exam and 70% in second exam. what percentage should he scored in the third exam to get an overall score of 70%

(55+70+y)÷3=70
125+y=210
y=210-125
y=85%..

let each exam consist 100 mark so overall mark 300
overall = 70% means student has to get 210 mark total
in first exam he get 55 mark in 100
second exam he get 70 mark in 100
till second exam total mark 55+70= 125
so 210-125= 85 mark still has to get.
in third exam obtained mark 85 in 100
so % of marke = 85 %
