a student should multiply a number by 5/3 ,he multiplied 3/5 instead .Find %error in calculation

Let the real no was x.

The correct answer should be 5*(x/3).

But he mistakingly got it as 3*(x/5).

To find %error. We have to calculate the error first. I.e

5*(x/3)-3*(x/5)=16*(x/15)

%error=(absolute error/real value) *100

I.e. (16*(x/15)/5*(x/3))*100=64%
