A student while obtaining a diminished real image of 5 cm object using a concave mirror of focal length 30 cm kept the mirror at 10 cm pointer on a meter scale and object 90 cm pointer.
state the position of the image with respect to the meter scale and also find the magnification and size of image​

real ⇒ same side ⇒v=−ve

Magnification, m=

⇒v=m×u=3×(−x)=−3x

From mirror formula,
