Given:

A sugar bag contains 30 kg of sugar.

To find:

Sugar left in bag after consuming 2/5th of it=?

Solution:

  = \frac{2}{5} \times 30

 = 2 \times 6

 = \: 12

Here, 12 kg of sugar is consumed.

So,

Remaining sugar left will be,

= 30 - 12

= 18 kg

Thus, 18 kg of the sugar is left in the bag.
