10g C12H22011 in 100g solution

Density of solution = 1.2g/ml

Volume of solution = Mass/Density = 100/1.2 = 83.33ml

(w/v) % = (Mass of solute/Volume of solution) x 100 = (10/83.33) x 100 = 12%
