seconds respectively. What is the total distance covered by the car in these 3 sec?

Answer:

30 is your answer

Explanation:

avg. velocity at t = 1s is 5m/s

avg. velocity at t = 2s is 10m/s

avg. velocity at t = 3s is 15m/s

we know that distance = average velocity x time

so distance travelled in first second = 5 x 1 = 5m

distance travelled in second second = 10 x 1 = 10m

distance travelled in third second = 15 x 1 = 15m

total distance travelled by the car in these 3 seconds = 5+10+15 = 30m

Hope it helps you.
