A sugare solution is 10%(w/v). Find percentage of weight by weight if density of solution is 1.2 g/ml​

It means (wt of sugar /wt of solution) =10 /100

It means if 100 gm solution is taken then wt of sugar =(10/100)*100 =10 gm.

Density of the solution is 1.2Gm/ml

Volume of 1.2gm solution is 1ml.

Volume of 1gm solution is 1/1.2 ml.

Volume of 100 gm solution is 100 /1.2 ml.

Then W/V%=(10 /100 *1.2*100)%

=12 % this is the answer.
