144 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

Measurement of suitcase = length = 80 cm ,

                                           breadth= 48 cm ,

                                           height= 24 cm ,

A suitcase with measure 80 cm*48 cm*24 cm is to b be covered with a tarpaulin cloth.

so we need to find the T.S.A. of the cuboid.

T.S.A of cuboid = 2(lb+bh+hl) ,

                        = 2(80 x 48 + 48 x 24 + 80 x 24) ,

                        = 2(3,840 + 1,152 + 1,920) ,

                        = 2(6912) ,

                        = 13,824 .

T.S.A of 100 cuboids = 13824 x 100 = 1382400 ,

T.S.A of cuboid = 13,824 = l x b = area of rectangle ,

                           13824 = l x 96 ,

                           13824/96 = l ,

                           14400 cm = l ,

So, when we convert it into meters, the answer is 144 m.

So, 144 m of tarpaulin of width 96 cm is required to cover 100 such suitcases.

Step-by-step explanation:

Measurement of suitcase = length = 80 cm ,

= 13,824 .

T.S.A of 100 cuboids = 13824 x 100 = 1382400 ,

T.S.A of cuboid = 13,824 = l x b = area of rectangle ,
