if x is amount, then

x+5×4×x/100=504

Amount after 212 years at simple interest of 10%

= 420+420×5×102×100 = Rs.525.00

Amount would be Rs. 525.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since we have given that

Rate of interest = 55

Amount = Rs. 504

Time = 4 years

Let Principal be 100%

So, Amount would be 100+5\times 4=100+20=100+20=120

so, if 120% gives Rs. 504

then, 100% gives

\dfrac{504\times 100}{120}\\\\=Rs.\ 420

Rate of interest = 10%

Time = 2\dfrac{1}{2}=\dfrac{5}{2}

SI=\dfrac{P\times R\times T}{100}\\\\SI=\dfrac{420\times 10\times 5}{200}\\\\SI=105

So, Amount = Principal + Interest = 420 + 105 =Rs. 525

Hence, amount would be Rs. 525.
