Which is to be distributed in the form of 63 prizes.

Let the prize of Rs100 type be x and 25Rs type be y.

100x + 25y = 3000

x + y = 63....

Multiplying eqn 2 by 100

100x + 100y +6300

Subtracting eqn 3 from 1

i.e 0 + 75y= 3300

Therefore y = 3300/75

63-44=19

Therefore there are 44 types of prizes in the form of 25Rs and 19 prizes in the form of 100 rupees.
