5 years interest = 2160-960 = 1200
int for one year = 1200/5= 240
int for 4 years = 960
let sum be p, time be n, rate of int be r
simple int = pnr/100
960= p* 4* 6/100
p= 960*100/4*6
= Rs. 4000

int for 4 years = 960

let sum be p, time be n, rate of int be r

simple int = pnr/100

960= p* 4* 6/100

p= 960*100/4*6

= Rs. 4000
