A sum of money was equally distributed among the boys in a class. Had there been 10 boys more each would have recieved Rs.1 less. Had there been 15 no. of less boys each would have recieved Rs.3 more.Find the no.of boys and the sum of money

Let total boys be 'X'

Let the total sum of money be 'Y'

so,
X+10 = Y-1 _____(1).
X-15 = Y+3 _____(2)

Solving both the equation,
X-Y = -1-10
X-Y = -11____(1)

X-Y = 3+15
X-Y = 18_____(2)

Subtracting,


X - Y = -11
X - Y = 18

Which is not possible!!
