A sum of Rs 3000 is to be given in the form of 63 prices. If price is of either rs 100 or of rs 25. find the number of prices of each type. the question have( LINEAR EQUATIONS ONE VARIABLE. PLEASE GIVE ANSWET

let the 100 Rs notes be x

∴25 Rs prizes =63-x

∴Acoording to condition

∴ 100x  + 25(63-x)= 3000

∴ 100x+1575-25x=3000

∴75x+1575=3000

∴75x=1425

∴x=19

there are 19 ;100 rupee prizes and 44 ; 25 rupee prize
