Therefore girls' will be 100-x

According to Question,

44.5x + 55.25(100-x) = 4880

44.50x + 5525 - 55.25x = 4880

10.75x = 645

x = 645/10.75 = 60

Total Boys = 60

Total Girls = (100-60) = 40
