Given rs. 5000 was divided among p, q, and r in the ratio 2:3:5 i.e, 2x+3x+5x=5000
from this we get x=500
Hence P'share is 2x=2*500=1000 and now 500 is added to him i.e., money with him now is 1500
Q's sahre is 3x=3*500=1500 and 500 is added i.e., 2000
R's share is 5x=5*500=2500 and 500 added i.e., 3000
hence new ratio is 1500:2000:3000 i.e., 3:4:6
