When solving this question,
Consider the sum reckoned be ₹ P.

Amount = ₹ 4130

Rate% = 6% p.a.

Time, t = 3 years

Amount = PRT/100 + P

4130 = (P * 6 * 3)/100 + P

4130 = 18 P/100 - P

4130 = 118 P/100

P = 4130*100/118

P = ₹ 3500

The required sum = P = ₹ 3500

Given,

Amount = ₹ 4130

Rate = 6 % per annum

Time = 3 years

Let the sum be ₹ P.

Now,

We know that

Amount \: \: = \: \: P + SI \\ \\ = > 4130 = P + ( \frac{P \times R \times T}{100} ) \\ \\ = > 4130 = P + ( \frac{P \times 6 \times 3}{100} ) \\ \\ = > 4130 = P + \frac{9P}{50}

 = > 4130 = \frac{50P + 9P}{50} \\ \\ = > 4130 = \frac{59P}{50} \\

 = > 59P = 4130 \times 50 \\ \\ = > P = \frac{4130 \times 50}{59}

 = > P = Rs\:\: 3500 \\ \\ Hence, \: \: the \: \: sum \: \: is \: \: Rs \: \: 3500
