a sumbarine is at 550m below the sea level.It ascends for 15 seconds and then stops.Its final position os at 100m below the sea level. find the speed of the sumbarine​

Initial position of submarine is 550 m below seas level

Final position of submarine = Initial position– 100 m below sea level

Time taken for ascending is 15 seconds.

Find:

Speed of submarine

Solutions:

Initial position of submarine before ascending= 550 m

Final position of submarine after ascending = 550 – 100 = 450 m

We have,

The time taken by the submarine is 10 Seconds  

=> Speed = Distance/Time

=> Speed = 450/15

=> Speed= 30

Hence, the speed of submarine is 30 m/s.
