A super-ball is to bounce elastically back and forth
between two rigid walls at a distance d from each
other. Neglecting gravity and assuming the velocity
of super-ball to be vo horizontally, the average force
being exerted by the super-ball on one wall is :

Answer:As the ball do back and forth motion, the distance covered by the ball is 2d

So time taken=2d/v∆p=2mvAs

F∆t=∆pF=2mv/2d/v

As v go upper side and become v^2and 2 from both upper and lower side get cancelled out and we get-F=mv^2/d
