Answer:

It will take 1500 minutes these two packagers, working together, to pack 500 boxes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,A packager can pack 15 boxes every two minutes.

So,a packager in 1 minute can pack \frac{2}{15} boxes.

Again given,another packager who can pack 15 boxes every three minutes.

So, another packager in 1 minute can pack

 \frac{3}{15} = \frac{1}{5} boxes.

Therefore two packager in 1 minute can pack

\frac{2}{15} + \frac{1}{5} \\ = \frac{2 + 3}{15} \\ = \frac{5}{15} \\ = \frac{1}{3}

boxes.Here two packager can pack \frac{1}{3}

boxes in 1 minuteSo,two packager can pack 1 box in  \frac{1}{ \frac{1}{3} } = 3 minutes.

Therefore two packager can pack 500 box in

 (500 \times 3) = 1500 \: minutes \\ = 25 \: hours
