persons liking apples(a)=74%

persons liking oranges(b)=68%

n(a union b)=100%

n(a union b)=n(a)+n(b)-n(a intersection b)

100%=74%+68%-n(a intersection b)

100-142=-n(a intersection b)

n(a intersection b) =42%
