In the above question, One survey was conducted and In that survey we find that among 120 pupils, 15% pupils goes school everyday by walking , 60% pupils goes school everyday by bus and 15% pupils goes school everyday by car .

Solution :-

1) According to the question,

15% pupils goes school everyday by bus

Total no .of pupils = 120

Now,

= 15/100 * 120

= 15/ 10 * 12

= 15/ 5 * 6

= 3 * 6

= 18

Hence, 18 pupils goes school everyday by walking.

2) According to the question,

60% pupils goes school everyday by bus

Total number of pupils = 120

Therefore,

= 60/100 * 120

= 6/10 * 120

= 6 * 12

= 72

Hence, 72 pupils goes school everyday by bus .

3) According to the question,

25% pupils goes school everyday by car

Total number of pupils = 120

Therefore,

= 25/100 * 120

= 1/4 * 120

= 120/4

= 30

Hence, 30 pupils goes school everyday by car .
