Given Data :-

 \\

  • Height of Tower = ∠A = Tan A
  • A = 40m

 \\  \\  \\

To Find :- Height of Tower

 \\  \\  \\

Solution :-

if ∠A = 40°

 \\

Then ,

 \\

 \huge \sf  \frac{adj}{opp}  = tan \:  \: a

 \huge \sf  \boxed{ \sf tan \:  \: 40 \degree \:  = 0.83}

 \\  \\

now substitute values , we get

 \\  \\

 \huge \sf tan \:  \: 40 \degree =   \frac{40}{opp}

 \large \sf opposite (opp) \:  \:  =  \frac{40}{0.83}  = 48.19

 \\  \\  \\  \\

  \large\therefore \sf  \: Height \:  \: of \:  \: tower \:  \:  = \:  48.19 \:  \: mtrs

 \\  \\  \\  \\
