A sweet stall was placing an order for making card board boxes for packing their sweets. Two sizes of boxes were required. The bigger of dimensions 25 cm * 20cm * 5cm
and the smaller of dimensions 15cm * 12cm * 5cm. For all the overlaps, 5% of the total surface area is required extra. If the cost of the card board is rs 4 for 1000cm square, find the cost of card board required for supplying 250 boxes of each kind.

total surface area of bigger box is 1522.5 cm2= 1450 + 72.5 after adding the area of overlap.
total suface area by formula: 2(lb + lh + bh)
total surface area of smaller box is 661.5 cm2 = 630 + 31.5 aftr adding the area of overlap.

Total area of cardboard of each king of 250 boxes

250 (1522.5 + 661.5)
250* 2184
= 546000cm2

rate of 1 cm2 = 4/1000cm2

: cost of cardboard required is 546000 * 4/1000

546 * 4
=rupees 2184
