Let the velocity of swimmer be v m/s.
Velocity along vertical axis = v sin 45°
Distance = 60 m
Time = 6 s
So, v sin45° = 60/6
v × 1/root 2 = 10
So, v = 10× root 2
Or v = 10i + 100
So, velocity of swimmer w.r.t. velocity of river = 10i + 10j - 5i
= 5i + 10 j
