A swimming pool 55 m long and 35 m broad has an iron rod all around it find the cost of the road at the rate of ₹70 per meter​

  • Breadth of pool = 35 m

TO FIND :

Cost of iron road at ₹70 per m

SOLUTION :

Since, he/she is covering iron rod around it. So she/he have must find perimeter.

We know that

 \sf \: Perimeter = 2 \bigg(l + b \bigg)

Perimeter = 2(55 + 35)

Perimeter = 110 + 70

Perimeter = 180 m

Now,

Total cost = Perimeter × Cost of iron rod of 1 m

Total Cost = 180 × 70

Total Cost = ₹12600
