A swimming pool has a width of 6 m. The perimeter is the pool 34m . What is the length of the pool

Perimeter = 2(l + b)

34 = 2(l + 6)

17 = l + 6

l = 17-6 = 11m

Answer: perimeter = 34 m

width = 6 m

perimeter of rectangle = 2 [ l + b ]

34 = 2 [ l + 6 ]

34 = 2l + 12

34 - 12 = 2l

22 = 2l

l = 11 m

length = 11m
