Heya ☺

Given that

L = 20m

B = 15m

H = 4m

Cost of cementing = ₹12 per square metre

Solution

Area of a swimming pool

= Area of four walls + Area of floor

= [2(I+b) × h + lb]

= [2(20+15) × 4 + 20 × 15]

= [2(35) × 4 + 300]

= [70 × 4 + 300]

= [280 + 300]

= 580m^2

Cost of cementing it's floor and walls

= ₹(580 × 12)

= ₹6,960

Thanks

Answer:

Answer is Rs 6960

Step-by-step explanation:

length = 20 m

Breadth = 15 m

Height= 4 m

Area of floor= l× b

= 20× 15 = 300m^2

Area of walls = 2(20×4)+2(15×4)

= 2(80×60)

= 280 m^2

Total area = 300+280

= 580 m^2

Cost of cementing = 580×12

= Rs 6960
