Answer:

36 men are there in the pool.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : A swimming pool is 24m long, 15m broad. When few men dive into the pool. The height of the water rises by 1 cm. If average amount of water displaced by one man is 0.1m^3.

To find : How many men are there in pool?

Solution :

Length=24 m

Breadth=15 m

Height=1 cm=0.01 m

Volume of the swimming pool is

V=l\times b\times h

V=24\times 15\times 0.01

V=3.6 m^3

0.1 m^3 water is displaced = 1 man

3.6 m^3 water is displaced=\frac{3.6}{0.1}=36 men

Therefore, 36 men are there in the pool.
