m1 = 0.4 , m2 = 0.6
x1 = 2 , x2 = 7
X = (m1x1 + m2x2)/(m1+m2)
  = (0.8 + 4.2)/(0.4+0.6)
X = 5 m.

Answer:

Here m1 = 0.4 , and m2 = 0.6

x1 = 2 , and x2 = 7

Let X be the coordinate of the central of mass. Then

X = (m1x1 + m2x2)/(m1+m2)

= (0.8 + 4.2)/(0.4+0.6)

X = 5 m.

Answer. B)5m
