Answer:

Let M.P. (marked price) of tea set be Rs. X

Discount percentage = 12%

Discount value= Rs. {(12*X)÷100}

Thus, C.P. (cost price)= Rs. {(M.P.) - (Discount value)} = Rs. {(X) - (12*X)÷100} = Rs. {(88*X)÷100}

But, actual C.P. = Rs. 528

Thus, (88*X)÷100 = 528

X = Rs. 600

Step-by-step explanation:

Let ₹ 100 be marked price & discount is ₹12

Therefore T-shirt on ₹88 for customer

Marked price. Discounted price

100. 88

X 528

X= (528 × 100)/88

X= (528 × 100)/88X = ₹600

Marked price on the T-shirt is 600.
