hello users .....
solution:-
let,
Table costs Rs = x
and
Chair costs Rs = y
According to question:
table costs ₹200 more than a chair.
x - y = 200 ....(1.)
=> x = 200 + y
and
two tables and three chair costs is ₹1400.
2x + 3y = 1400 ........(2.)
putting the value...
=> 2(200 +y) + 3y = 1400
=> 400 + 2y+3y = 1400
=> 5y = 1400 - 400 = 1000
=> y = 200
putting the value of y in ......(1.)
we get;
x - 200 = 200
=> x = 200+200 = 400
hence;
Table costs Rs = 400
&
Chair costs Rs = 200 Answer
