A table is 1.8 m long and 1.5 m wide. A table cloth with sides 30 cm more than that of
the table is laid on it. Find the perimeter of the table cloth.​

Since Sides of table cloth is 30 cm more than the sides of the table .

So , Length of table cloth

=1.8 m+30 cm

=1.8+30100

=1.8+0.3

=2.1 m .

Width of table cloth

=1.5 m+30 cm

=1.5+30100

=1.5+0.3=1.8 m .

Perimeter of table cloth

= 2(l+b)

=2(2.1+1.8)

=2×3.9

=7.8 m .  

ANS...Perimeter of the table cloth is 7.8
