We can't talk about the melting and boiling points of air because the air in the atmosphere consists of nitrogen, oxygen, carbon dioxide, water vapour and small amounts of other elements (argon, neon, etc.) and all of these have a different melting and boiling point. Also, the melting and boiling points of these are different as sometimes they form compounds and sometimes they are just single molecules.
