A table top is 4 m long and 2m 25 cm wide. How many square metred of cloth is needed to cover the table top

length = 4m

breadth = 2.25m

area of table = area of cloth needed to cover the table

are of table = 4*2.25 = 9m²

∴ A cloth of 9m² is required to cover the table.
